NYN INC. is seeking a full-time Senior Graphic Designer who will be responsible for providing internal graphic art and creative services, creating illustrations, web page layouts, logos, print materials, and organizing and maintaining the company’s creative marketing assets. We are seeking an individual who is looking to grow in the position and continue to expand their skill set.
The Senior Graphic Designer will work closely with the Creative Director, Client Relations Manager and other team members. This role is a key individual contributor to the design team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design visually appealing and easy-to-navigation websites for clients in a wide range of industries
- Create brand identities, logos, and branding materials
- Research current trends and implement them in the design and functionality across platform
- Design branding materials for stationery items, promotional materials, and other items as required
- Creative visual design experience in print and digital media, logo design and social media advertisements
- Create multimedia presentations including videos and slideshows
Experience Requirements:
- College Diploma in Graphic Design
- 3+ Years of Graphic Design Experience
Core Competency Requirements:
- UI/UX Design Experience
- Skills with the design of website layouts, creative brand development, print materials, and other materials
- Ability to meet with new and existing clients to determine specific requirements for branding, web design & other materials
- Expertise in brand identity development, logo design, and creation of branding materials
- Experience in print development an asset
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat (Adobe Creative Cloud suite)
- Work with web-based applications to manage workflow and collaborate
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
Other Requirements:
- Creativity and the ability to develop new, original ideas for logos and branding
- Working Knowledge of Video Production or Animation/Motion Graphics skills is an asset
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-functional team
- Comfortable with some ambiguity and able to shift priorities when needed
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and implement notes and client requests into designs
- Familiarity with social media outlets including Facebook an asset
Location:
This is an in-office position at our Windsor office located at 2362 Central Ave.
Hours/Salary:
- FT - 40 hrs. Per week
- $62,000 annually (negotiable based on experience)
